the exhibition is named after one of the paintings on show by reno

wned artist Chen Yifei. The showcase opened on June 21 and will end on Sept 8.上海夜生活品茶微信

About 200 works of art are on display at the show, including oil paintin

上海夜生活gs, Chinese ink paintings, prints, sketches, sculptures, political posters and New Year

posters, many of which are iconic images that used to appear in textbooks and other publications.

According to Chen Lyusheng, curator of the exhibition and deputy director of the art theory co上海夜生活品茶微信

mmittee under the China Artists Association, the Long Museum’s collection of New China art started be

上海夜生活cause of the personal interests of the founders of the museum, Wang Wei and Liu Yiqian.

The couple established the first Long Museum in Pudong in

2012 before opening the second one, the Long Museum West Bund in Xuhui district, in 20上海夜生活品茶微信

14. Two other branches of the museum opened in Chongqing in 2016 and Wuhan in 2018.

上海夜生活Chen Lyusheng notes that while Liu has always been collecting classical Chinese art, hi

s wife Wang has instead been focusing on collecting New China art from 1949 onward.

“Long Museum has gained a special position in the field of modern Chinese art since上海夜生活品茶微信

1949, having accumulated a unique collection of art because of Wang Wei’s personal enthusiasm,” he says.

上海夜生活Wang began collecting revolutionary art in 2003 after she bought a paint

ing titled Hard Times by Zhang Hongxiang at an auction. The artwork depicts Chairman Ma

o Zedong standing among Red Army soldiers in the mountainous area of Jinggangshan.上海夜生活品茶微信

Following that purchase, Wang went on to amass a collection of more than 100 paintin

上海夜生活gs from the period before presenting an exhibition at the Shanghai Art Museum in 2009. The collection cu

rrently has about 300 artworks that have been presented in exhibitions in Shanghai and Chongqing.

According to Liang Jiang, the head of the research institute of Gua上海夜生活品茶微信

ngzhou Academy of Fine Arts in Guangdong province, the Long Museum’s art col

上海夜生活品茶微信lection is so impressive that he often has to borrow their works for exhibitions.

“I was one of the curators of a major exhibition of Guangdong art, and we had to borrow some paintings, including imp

ortant pieces depicting Chairman Mao in the countryside, from the Long Museum,” he says.

“I see that the collection at the Long Museum is making up for th

e deficiency of national art collections in State-owned institutions. I believe the Long Museum is le

ading a good trend that is worthy of praise. I know how difficult it is to achieve this.”

ritain’s Conservative Party leadership contest frontrunner Boris Johnson has backtracked on his prev

上海夜生活ious comments made on Brexit negotiations, saying there is only a “millio

n-to-one” chance that the United Kingdom will leave the European Union without a deal.

Just a day after he stoked concern by promising in a radio interview to leave the EU on Oct 31 “come wh

at may, do or die” with a no-deal Brexit, Johnson stated he did not believe that was where Britain would “end up”.

In a Conservative party hustings on Wednesday evening, Johnson said: “It’s absolutely vital that we prepare for a no-deal outcome if we’re going to get the deal that we need.

“上海夜生活女神会所I don’t think that’s where we’re going to end up — I think it’s a million to one against — but it’s vital that we prepare.”

The EU has said it will not return to Prime Minister Theresa May’s withdrawal deal, rejected three

times by UK Parliament, and experts are sceptical a new prime minister can secure any changes to the

controversial Northern Ireland backstop hated by Eurosceptic MPs by the end of October.

Both men vying to be the next prime minster, Johnson and Jeremy Hunt, have said they would back a no-

deal Brexit departure from the EU, if a new withdrawal agreement with Brussels couldn’t be reached.上海夜生活女神会所

Johnson said there was a new feeling of “common sense breaking out” among members of Parliament

in favor of passing a deal. He played down the idea that he would prorogue – or susp

end – Parliament in order to secure a departure on Oct 31, but did not entirely rule it out.

Facebook to target vaccine misinformation with focus on

Facebook, the world’s largest social media site, will soon take aim against anti-vaxe

rs. The company will start by lowering the ranking of groups and pages that spread misinformation about vacc

inations in its News Feed and Search options, a representative said Wednesday.

”These Groups and Pages will not be included in recommendations or in predictions when you type into Search,” Monika Bickert, Facebook’s vice pres

ident of global policy management, said in a statement. She added that when ads that include misinformation about va

ccinations are found, “we will reject them.” Ad accounts that continue to violate company policies may even be disabled.

Facebook won’t be disabling personal accounts that post misinformation about vaccines, a spokeswoman told CNN on backgrou

nd. General misinformation doesn’t violate the company’s community standards. If something blatantly violates th

e standards, it will be removed, but that will not happen to individual posts containing misinformation.

Bickert said the company is also “exploring ways to share educational informa

tion about vaccines,” possibly by adding educational information to inaccurate posts.
